“Just say hello, and I’m yours”

In a rare moment, he escaped his self-isolation and ventured into the world. He walked through his town, passing by person after person who never looked up, who didn’t acknowledged him. The loneliness was heightened by the presence of people who just didn’t care.

Then he saw her.

She was commanding, she was beautiful, and she looked up. Their eyes met, and a strange, but wild connection was instantly sparked. Despite this, he wouldn’t dare approach. Who was he? He had no legacy. He had nothing to offer. He WAS nothing.

“Just say hello…” he thought, not to himself, but to the vision before him. If he couldn’t bring himself to take the first step, he could wish for her to do so. It would mean so much for someone to see worth in his eyes.

He waited… but nothing changed.

Eventually her gaze was taken by one of the hundreds of others who weren’t broken down and, to be honest, scared.

Was this love? Infatuation?

“hello”

LISTEN NOW! What’s better than finding love? It’s sometimes hard to place, but when you find it… you just kind of know it. “Hello” is about finding that love and the quest for bravery to approach. Then again, if they just said “hello” first…

Lyrics

Sitting on a catwalk with a tambourine
It’s a blue one
Hoping for a ride in your limousine
To anywhere we want

Just say hello and I’m yours
Just say hello and I’m yours

My search is over
My search is over now, cause you're here
My search is over
My search is over now, yeah

Jumping in your stream with everybody watching me
I wonder what’s in my drink
Purr like a lion with a curly mane
But I just wanna know your name

Just say hello and I’m yours
Just say hello and I’m yours

My search is over
My search is over now, cause you're here
My search is over, come here
My search is over, yeah

WHERE IT BEGAN

So many changes from the original “Hello” demo to the final product. From the use of a real person saying “Hello” to adding in more lead guitar to synth counter melodies to variation/panning in the beat, all of these things really brought the song to life.
